6. ​Re-notification: Initiating the next cycle based on updated evidence, creating a feedback loop that forces institutional response.

Documentation is the first act of civic accountability. A citizen does not need to be a lawyer, programmer, journalist, or regulator to preserve a factual record. The ability to document events accurately is itself a democratic skill.

Principle 1: Record Before You React

When confronted with a suspected restriction, deletion, error, or unexplained platform action:

• Record the date and time.
• Capture screenshots.
• Save relevant URLs.
• Preserve notifications and emails.
• Write a short factual description.
• Do not begin with conclusions. Begin with observations.

Principle 2: Separate Facts from Interpretations

Good documentation distinguishes between:
